The value of TAUS is in the genuine and open sharing of information, data, metrics and insights. This value is protected by the TAUS legal framework, that consists of the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Membership Terms, but equally so by the trust that the TAUS organization, it’s staff and all participants in the TAUS events, user groups and webinars comply with the following principles, referred to as the TAUS Code of Conduct:

  1. No selling. No direct prospecting and sales actions are to be undertaken during the TAUS events, webinars and user group meetings. TAUS is a think tank and not a trade organization. The exchange of information at TAUS is aimed at a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the market and for all members and participants to enable better translation for their customers and end users. Commercial activities and promotional utterances can do harm to the relevance and value of the TAUS community.
  2. Confidentiality. Information and data shared at the TAUS events, user groups and webinars may not be copied or communicated, except by TAUS in the reports published on the TAUS website. TAUS will only publish anonymized and aggregated information and data and not mention individual use cases, nor quote individual participants in the events, webinars and user group meetings, unless the individual member or participant has given explicit permission to do so.

By registering to and participating in the TAUS events, user groups and webinars, all participants agree to comply with the Code of Conduct and respect these principles of No selling and Confidentiality.
