Amsterdam, May 9, 2017 – TAUS has released a new version of Quality Dashboard, the industry-shared platform which visualizes translation quality and productivity data in a flexible reporting environment. MateCat wins TAUS Game Changers Innovation Contest in Shenzhen

Shenzhen, March 2, 2017 – On 1 March 2017, at LocWorld Shenzhen, TAUS organized their Game Changers Innovation Contest with the help of host Henri Broekmate from Lionbridge. Ten presenters were asked to spend six minutes on the stage to showcase their innovative idea, perspective or technology. About 100 people gathered in the room to witness this event. The over 250 attendees of LocWorld all received a link to vote for their favorite.

DQF Tools Updated with DQF-MQM Error Types

Amsterdam, March 29, 2016 – Today a new version of TAUS DQF Tools was released fully supporting the harmonized DQF-MQM error typology model. DQF tools is a vendor independent environment for evaluating translated content. With the previous version users of DQF Tools could already perform MT comparison, productivity evaluation and error review tasks. With the new release users will be compliant with the DQF-MQM metric which is more and more considered a standard industry reference for translation quality management.

Working Group Formed for TAUS Translation API

December 10, 2014, Amsterdam  - The first meeting of the working group in support of the TAUS Translation API took place on November 20, 2014. The founding members of the TAUS Translation API working group are Microsoft, Oracle, Google, Adobe, Plunet, Cisco, Spartan Software, Enlaso, Nova Language Services, Welocalize and TAUS. The TAUS Translation API initiative started in April 2011 with the interoperability action line under TAUS Labs. The objective is to standardize as much as possible the way translation tools and services interconnect.

TAUS and Toyohashi University of Technology Partner to Support Japanese Industry with Machine Translation

December 9, 2014, Amsterdam – TAUS signs partnership agreement with the National University Corporation Toyohashi University of Technology to support Japanese corporations with the customization and implementation of machine translation technology. As part of a funding program from the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Technology Toyohashi University of Technology will create a consortium of large corporate buyers of translation and language service providers who will work together to enable vast improvements in machine translation for Japanese language. Under this agreement the consortium partners will work with TAUS and upload and download new Japanese translation data with the TAUS Data repository.
